Hello to all!

As i did not receive an answer but think, that i am not the only one
with this question, here is what solved the problem:

First Step:
I found out that there is a bug with the RC-Version that does choose the
wrong graphics-driver (nv) for certain NVidia-Cards not supported by
that driver.
The bug has been resolved in the daily build, so i downloaded that.

Second step:
Hurray, i get gdm running and showing, although only in a 800x600
resolution wich can't be changed.

Third step:
Installing the proprietry NVidia-Driver, wich takes pretty long (i
thoght the system hung), although it is provided on the CD:-)

Fourth Step:
Do not restart the computer - as the Driver is not installed on a HD ;-)
Restart Gnome/X by pressing Ctrl-Alt-Backspace
and Voila: Here comes Intrepid with 1280x1024 resolution and 3D-effects.

What did i learn from this:
There seems to be no way telling the system in advance wich driver to
load (at least i did not find any)
But i can safely update to intrepid's final version, because vereything
works fine, especially the graphics, and that was the reason for trying
the Live-CD. Otherwise i would not update my runnig system;-)

Have nice release-partys!
