Sorry, but disabling _all_ security updates is. I agree that it might be
ok to not perform all of them after checking the security announcement
list, for example.

However, you never know what is around the corner, and even if he has no
services running, Firefox is a big target.

I'm nitpicking, but you know yourself that there never is "no risk at
all". There might be minimal risk, but see further up.

Not through a security update in a stable distro, no.
