USB tv tuners compatible for ubuntu hardy

I have one of those (Hauppauge WinTV HVR 900) and it works fine in hardy 
with kaffeine, but I have to recompile the drivers at kernel change. I'm 
planning to test it in intrepid.

Anyway, I've followed instructions at

Is there any other way you know of?
