oh...I should add -- now that I've read the thread subject and gone
to look at each system of mine -- that I'm running nVidia driver rev
177.80 on all three Intrepid 8.10RC boxes. Which might have a bearing
on reliability/stability/compatibility etc.

NP: nothing
