I just upgraded my laptop, and I am trying to get kismet set up on it.
Acording to dmesg I have the following wireless chip:

 eth1: Broadcom BCM4311 802.11 Wireless Controller 5.10.27.6

I have set the follwing in /etc/kismet/kismet.conf

source=bcm43xx,eth1,eth1

But when I try to start kismet I get:

Source 0 (eth1): Enabling monitor mode for bcm43xx source interface eth1
channel 6...
FATAL: Failed to set monitor mode: Invalid argument. This usually means
your drivers either do not support monitor mode, or use a different
mechanism for getting to it. Make sure you have a version of your drivers
that support monitor mode, and consult the troubleshooting section of the
README.
Done.

I have isntalled the closed source driver for this module, at least I think
it's the correct one, and I am connected to my wireless network this way.

What should I check next?
