Hi David,
If you rely on your computer for your livelihood, I'd wait until
Ubuntu unveils the release version. That said, I've installed a
couple of betas this close to R-Day and have experienced few problems
that I couldn't put up with temporarily. You'd see fairly constant
string of updates signalled by the update manager between now and then.
And as long as you installed those along the way, you'd be all up to
date by R-Day. But the beta will still be bit buggy, so, as the man
asked: Do you feel lucky?? Perhaps it's best to check with
Ubuntu's web page, check the remaining known-bug list, and see if
you can live with them.
