The TRS-80 model 100 and model 102 were very popular with Associate
Press reporters. The device ran for a long time on a couple of AA
batteries (and/or an A/C adapter), was light and the ROM editor software
was easy to use. Lastly it could hook up to the phone with a modem to
send in stories from anywhere in the world. The things are pretty
much indestructible.

BTW, there are several computer museums around the world. Just do
a search and you'll find more than a few.
