Then look at your errors and warnings, because those messages are from
the "intel" driver.  Particularly, you should see:
(II) LoadModule: "i810"
(II) Loading /usr/lib/xorg/modules/drivers//i810_drv.so
(II) Module i810: vendor="X.Org Foundation"
(II) I810: Driver for Intel Integrated Graphics Chipsets: i810, i810-dc100,
        i810e, i815, i830M, 845G, 852GM/855GM, 865G, 915G, E7221 (i915),

fwiw, the intel driver is in hardy, in the xserver-xorg-video-intel package
and the i810 driver is in the xserver-xorg-video-i810 package.  I have no
idea which is really right for your system, but you (and your xorg.conf)
say you're using i810, while the messages say you're using intel.
