Running Ubuntu or Xubuntu with 550 Mhz and 186 MB RAM?

Hi!

You will need to install from the alternate CDs... because of low
memory. But beyond that, it will work.

I run it on a 450 MHz Sony Vayo with 320 MB of RAM. Ram is your
killer... here. The more you have the better it will perform. It's cheap
nowadays. Get a 256 PC-133 chip and add it to the machine and you'll be
happy.

Gilles.
