Skype over bluetooth? (yes, I have googled!)

This message is crossposted to Ubuntu-users and Kubuntu-users as it
may not be a Kubuntu-specific problem.

I would like to route my skype conversations through a bluetooth
headset as my laptop Kubuntu 8.04 machine has bluetooth support. I
have found _lots_ of info by googling, but it is all specific to
versions of Ubuntu <= 7.10 and for each version it is very specific.
Additionally, it looks like PulseAudio may be a problem in Kubuntu
8.04. Is there a guide for using a bluetooth headset with Kubuntu 8.04
that is known to work? I am wary of experimenting with different
guides that may or may not work on this, my work machine.
