If that is the case I apologize; the error message I got back sounded 
distinctly as a ban notification, and it certainly wouldn't be the first 
time people had said you were quick on the trigger for banning people.

I don't know what the check was that my system had failed; if you tell 
me that I'm not currently on your ban list, I'd retry a private mail and 
see if it bounces, since  don't think anything has changed on my ISP's 
configuration.
