having trouble opening a cd made from Windows Vista's writing

I hate Bad news!

Unfortunitly the Microsoft "Live" UDF (UDF 2.01) as used by Vista can't be 
read by linux prior to 2.6.25  without a Kernel Patch. I would recomend 
useing a burning software (Nero Roxio Et-al) to create the data CD and 
not Vista's Drag-To-Disk
