Some rather basic Gnome questions

I'm configuring a new Ubuntu 8.10 system from scratch and, as I'm not
a Gnome desktop user (ex fvwm and others) I'm having trouble finding a
few rather fundamental things for the Gnome desktop.

1 - How/where do I set "Focus follows mouse", I can't find it anywhere
in Preferences but I'm sure it must be there somewhere.

2 - How do I increase the number of desktops from teh default two?

3 - How do I move a window if I don't have access to the title bar?
