Hang on, now.  dhclient is _always_ running.  I've already pointed out to
you that NM isn't even involved here, so there's no reason technically that
it can't have been dhclient that updated resolv.conf (I'm inclined to
suspect that you're right that it wasn't dhclient but I really don't want
to be forced to play with my own network settings to verify it).

I give up.  Network Manager was not involved.
