FBReader - Library empty

Hello,

I have installed FBReader 0.8.14-1ubuntu1 on my Ubuntu Feisty desktop.

I configured a symlink to a directory hierarchy as my Book Path and set it
to look in sub directories, but
the Library stays empty...

What's wrong?
