ALSA Mixer and the Internal Mic for a EEE PC

Yeah - I've tried them.  eeebutu is a non-starter.  It is two darn fat,
slow and ugly.  eeexubutu might be alright but I use wmaker and really
thats what I want to use.  I just need to access all my hardware either
through the command line (prefered) or through programs loaded on the
wmaker menues.

The alsa configuration on this thing is just awful and the automounter
is also a mystery.  There seems to be no way to automount the SSD
without running nautalis.
