To use the 64 bit flash player, I
moved /var/lib/flashplugin-nonfree/npwrapper.libflashplayer.so to
somewhere safe, copied the libflashplayer.so binary
to /var/lib/flashplugin-nonfree and redid the symlinks
in /etc/alternatives:

xulrunner-addons-flashplugin
xulrunner-flashplugin

to point to /var/lib/flashplugin-nonfree/libflashplayer.so.

You can see which library the plugin came from by doing an about:plugins
in Firefox with the pathname expansion option on. Look at
http://kb.mozillazine.org/About:plugins for details about how to expose
the pathnames of the plugins in the about:plugins display.
