upgrading Gutsy to Hardy failed

I just tried to upgrade a Gutsy distribution I have to Hardy but it 
fails with as last line:
"2008-11-30 13:34:12,225 ERROR DIst-upgrade failed: 'E: Unable to corrct 
problems, you have held broken packages.'"
However, when using the filter broken it says (on the lower rim of the 
window):
"1091 packages listed 1091 installed 0 broken 0 to install/upgrade 0 to 
remove:".
So how to solve this discrepancy?
Any help is wellcome.
