No terminal command; Sorry I should have been more clear. I have two gui
applications (Applications|Internet|Remote Desktop Viewer (Remote
Desktop Viewer 0.5.1) and thought that was what you were referring to.
The other is 'Terminal Server Client' (that's the one I use most often).

Cool. Given that you have set a fixed IP for 'media', go back and modify
your /etc/hosts file to include the IP. Example:

127.0.0.1  localhost media
127.0.1.1  media

192.168.0.109 media

(I'm assuming that 'media' is the host name).

And then try pinging 'media'

ping media

Ah. That's a problem. Try doing so after you modify /etc/hosts to
include 'media' & let us know if there is any change.
