What is simple? Appending more data to a file? Yes, it is. A poster
already gave you a method to do that. Or are you trying to say it is
simple to do what you are thinking you want to do and it seems
complicated? In that, please explain more what is the purpose of your
questions at hand.
As far as I can tell, a "joiner", as you put it, is going to join
multiple files. If it is a text file, the earlier suggestion in this
thread should work perfectly. What is the problem with that, can you
specify?
If it is a different file, then I supposed it depends on the type of
file (ODF document, jpeg image, PDF document).
In any case, if the cat command does not work for you, please explain
why this won't work and also explain further what is the objective. If
you have concrete examples, that would be helpful too.
Regards.
