wireless network printer

I have a printer attached to my desktop which is running Ubuntu 8.04 and
which I access using TurboPrint. I would like to access this printer
from a laptop running Ubuntu 8.10 and wondered whether this was possible
using a wireless connection. I have tried Google without any success as
most information appears not to go beyond Ubuntu 7.10 and, even then,
very little about wireless networking. 

I would be grateful if someone could tell me if it is possible to do
what I would like to do and, if so, please point me in the right
direction.
