I don't understand what products are being referred to, or how the
incompatibility is effected. Maybe M$ is just maintaining customary
quality?

Errm, is that sort of stuff legal in Europe now?

For my money, if folk can't communicate with me 'cos they're encumbered
by M$, it's their loss. (During 12 years at one company, management
especially understood: "If that needs to reach Erik, we have to send it
in plaintext or RTF.")
