I know that - but then Mike posted something that looks to me as if it 
might mislead other users, and I'm asking whether mad-wifi is still a 
reasonable solution.   I don't _know_, but I do know that my own atheros 
NIC (on the machine my wife's using at the moment, so I can't check 
exactly which driver and chip) doesn't use mad-wifi.
