flaky cifs mounting after recent kernel update

I allowed the kernel update yesterday and rebooted. Since then, it seems
my cifs (windows share) mounts randomly balk at how they are mounted.
There are 5 mounts, and 3 are fairly identical in that they are shares on
the same windows server with identical credentials, but mount -a seems to
decide to mount one or two ro. And it isn't always the same ones.
Is anyone else getting this with Intrepid?
