procmail and maildir

No reason in the world.  I have my mail spool in /var/mail/$USER/ and
symlinks from $HOME/Maildir for some apps that preferred the mail to be
there.  otoh, I've had my mail in $HOME/Maildir/ with symlinks
from /var/mail/$USER/ before, and I'm still not sure which way is better.

Exactly.  otoh, it makes _user_ file backup easier when it's in $HOME -
which is precisely why I can't decide which I prefer.
