I don't dispute that. I merely assert that it is the task of Nvidia to 
keep their closed source drivers up to date. Therefore only Nvidia is at 
fault if their driver doesn't work with Intrepid.

I don't think Intrepid really _needs_ 2.6.27 and there is nothing special 
about this kernel either. It is just the latest one. I think Intrepid 
should work with an older kernel as well, e.g. from Hardy. But I didn't 
try that, I'm still using Hardy.
