I downloaded the ISO at
http://archive.ubuntu.com/ubuntu/dists/intrepid/main/installer-i386/current/images/netboot/mini.iso and got this for checksums:

MD5: 5009f9d335cfe6e6c4f10a6d994c1fcb mini.iso
SHA1: 649ae1cee0b5407dd924f15f8d8baa09df201244 mini.iso
SHA256: cf83b6c5131664855447ae102deb1dcb48af40863b139baa0e5ddc46695811b8
mini.iso

So based on the MD5 sum, it looks like you got the same ISO I did. But
you should check your SHA1 (sha1sum) or SHA256 (sha256sum) against mine
to make sure I didn't copy/paste your MD5 sum :)

Bug-free code is a myth.
