Web GUI for server administration

(this is _not_ a follow up from the OT Debian lists thread ;) )
I run a Ubuntu server with my brother, which serves web, mail, ftp and a Java-based game server, and we're after a GUI for its administration.
It's to look after Apache2, Bind9, Postfix and I'm willing to go with whichever FTP server is best supported by whatever turns out to be most ideal. I invisage using php*admin for sql administration. I'd rather not forward X over ssh.
I'm not after something massively powerful with which I can run the system, just something so that normal, everyday tasks can be done by him, not me (new DNS records, users, mail addresses etc.).
One big point is that it should edit the existing config files, rather than impose some different system - I need to still be able to go and edit the config files as needs be.
We've just been using DTC with a little less luck than I'd hoped for (kept breaking things rather than adjusting them), and he's not particularly fond of Plesk for reasons I've yet to extract from him.
DTC seemed to be about right, but It's really not reliable enough for me to put it straight onto a production system. I'll be getting a VM up running it shortly, but I really want something for the interim.
