Enabling Wireless

Hello,

I tried already to identify the wireless card but I'm not sure which is it

When I type lspci - it states that it is "Intel Corporation Mobile PM965/GM965/GL960"

When I type lspci | grep -i wireless I get "Atheros Communication Inc. Ar5418 802.11abgn wireless."

If this is wrong how do I identify the wireless card in Terminal? Because Ubuntu 8.04 does not seem to have a Device Manager like the older versions so I find it quite difficult to find out my card.

Justin

Hopefully you will find the information here:

<https://help.ubuntu.com/community/WifiDocs/Driver/Ndiswrapper>
<https://help.ubuntu.com/community/WifiDocs/Driver/Ndiswrapper/FAQ>
<https://help.ubuntu.com/community/WifiDocs/NdiswrapperOnAMD64>

If that doesn't help, please let us know which wireless card is in your
machine.

Nils
