Mixing Ubuntu & KDE components, to restore features in KDE applications.

I prefer the Gnome desktop but prefer several KDE applications over 
their Gnome counterparts.

The problem is that the KDE applications are missing some features 
because they're installed under Gnome.

Can I install some portion of KDE to get these features to work under 
Gnome?  If so, which ones?

Amarok, K3B, and Ktorrent are the applications if it makes a difference.
