Hello Karl,

I have installed ubuntu with a network install using my desktop as a server.
It is surprisingly a rather straightforward process (though very heavy on my
internet connection :-)

I still have to figure out how to check my root directory without a
liveCD... but this will have to wait for the weekend :-)
