Can't Find a Supervisor

Good to a point.  Here's my commands:

ragweed at ragweed-den:~$ sudo dpkg --configure -a

ragweed at ragweed-den:~$ sudo apt-get install avast4workstation_1.0.8-2.deb

ragweed at ragweed-den:~$ sudo apt-get install /home/ragweed/Desktop/avast4workstation_1.0.8-2.deb

I tried it plain because it seems to know to look on the desktop, then I entered the path to it....   and it doesn't find it. 
  Any ideas?
