Debian or Ubuntu?

    And yet dist-upgrade has worked on my Debian machines for years now.  And
no upgrade-manager here.  Adept-updater.  Even then kinda hard to use either
update if the GUI is harfed, you're running a VM with no GUI, you're updating
a remote machine or, even better, a remote VM with no GUI.

    If *buntu can't be updated from aptitude then it certainly has a long way
to go before touching Debian when it comes to server work.
