I have installed hardy on 2 machines.
on one i have installed the amd64 hardy desktop
on the other i have installed amd64 hardy server.

the server i have installed the ubuntu-xen-server package turning it
into a xen 3.2 server.
reading the "Virtualization" section on the 8.04 Server Guide i
decided to give virt-manager a try

i have installed virt-manager (version 0.5.3-0ubuntu10) on the desktop
and installed libvirt-bin (version 0.4.0-2ubuntu8)

i have confirmd that libvirtd is running. and i running
virsh -c xen:///localhost list
from the local root return the correct domain list.

running
virsh -c xen+ssh://root@server/ list
from the desktop machine also
return the proper list.

connecting via virsh does not cause any problems.

but as soon as i connect using virt-manager from the desktop,
i get an initial list of domains, but it kills the libvirtd on the server.

i have tried restarting the libvirtd on the server, but each time i
connect using virt-manager,
the libvirtd is killed.

when the libvirtd dies the following errer is printed in the /var/log/messages
May 12 17:18:51 server kernel: [ 6220.358110] libvirtd[7020] trap
divide error rip:7fbf122fb59a rsp:7fff1adb5450 error:0

can anyone help me?
is this a bug?

TIA,
