Problems with Picasa after 8.04 upgrade

Is anyone else having problems downloading photos from Picasa after the 8.04
upgrade? What I am seeing is 2 problems. The lease troublesome is that
sometimes when pushing the forward, or back button, I move 2 images. The
more important one is thta after downloading some small number of images,
when I press the "Download Image" button, I get a warning message saying
thta the image is no longer available, and I get kicked back out to the
album overview page. Yet, when I go back to that image I can get it, and
a few more, before the problem repeats itself.

Is this a known issue with the Beta version of Firefox?
