Upgrade from beta fo fina hardy release

It depends. If update manager asked you to upgrade to 8.04 then you are in release. If not, you still have beta. Just burn a release disk, back up anything important and install release.

I work with hardy since mid february and almost everything is working without a problem.

I have one question tough. I did not see a huge upgrade after the final release of 8.04 and the grub lenu still displays the following:

Ubuntu hardy (development branch), kernel 2.6.24-16-generic

Have I upgraded to the final release or am I still in the beta phase of Hardy
