Advice for backscatter e-mail filter

It's not uncommon for me to receive a handful of failed sent message
notices from spam pretending to be me. (Known as backscatter).
Unfortunately, today I've been with with over 1500 and counting.

I was thinking of creating a filter that picks out all e-mails with a
Return-path: <> Header.  Can anyone think of a legit reason for
Return-Path to be blanked for other reasons besides delivery failure
(including out of office auto-responds)
