ERROR in Evolution

I understand that. None-the-less - have you deleted and recreated the
offending account?

As Sherlock Holmes once said (allegedly):

  "When you have eliminated the impossible, whatever remains,
   *however improbable* must be the truth."

So right now I'm still betting there is an error in the account setup at
your end.

If you have already deleted and recreated the account in Evolution, then
I have no more ideas. Otherwise, I strongly suggest you try it...
especially as I was able to use exactly those account details
successfully (although with a different SMTP server).
