I suspect Karl referred to Fed 7/8 then compared to (wrongly stating the
Ubu version numbers) to his current version of Ubu.

Sometimes the mind works faster then the fingers. Cut the man some
slack - in the end, he was most certainly complimenting both the Ubu OS
and the users on this list compared to his last experience with the
other.
