php5 with db2 support

I'm trying to set up php5 with db2 support.  I've found a lot of old
documentation and a lot of forums of people having the same or similar
issues, but still have not gotten php working with db2.  I've
installed db2 from the partners channel, and php5, and followed
various various sitets outdated instructions on how to get this
accomplished.

Anyone got this working with ubuntu server 7.10?
