LOL... Sorry for the confusion... I typed just after drinking coffee... 
fingers a bit jittery.

It's definitely not a 6 GHz laptop...

It's an OLD (i.e. designed for Windows 98SE) Sony Vayo PCG-Z505HE... and 
I lied... it's not 600 MHz... after an actual check at BIOS messages, 
it's actually running at a whopping 480 MHz, with 320 MB of RAM and an 8 
GB hard disk... and... OK, it's slow... but it does the job. :)
