  If you will go to the Ubuntu forums and begin a string titled "Esword
not working," when you tab from the Title Bar you will be given a set of
strings that have already been started on Esword, the deb package and
you will find there that you need to install 3 .dll's and that you need
to make two of them Native inside Wine.  That will fix your pronlem, at
least mine runs better than on windows.
