Hi all,

I recently purchased a Logitech camera for my ubuntu (Gutsy Gibbon) pc but
unfortunately it doesn't mount properly. I checked that the camera is
linux-compatible according to
http://www.quickcamteam.net/hcl/linux/logitech-webcams

The camera is listed as:
0992 SPCA527 Logitech QuickCam Communicate Deluxe uvcvideo

It seems that the uvc video drivers work properly according to dmesg

dmesg output:
[ 3876.425354] usb 4-6: new high speed USB device using ehci_hcd and address
3
[ 3876.674510] usb 4-6: configuration #1 chosen from 1 choice
[ 3876.846742] Linux video capture interface: v2.00
[ 3876.908148] usbcore: registered new interface driver snd-usb-audio
[ 3876.908166] uvcvideo: Found UVC 1.00 device <unnamed> (046d:0992)
[ 3876.927794] usbcore: registered new interface driver uvcvideo
[ 3876.927799] USB Video Class driver (v0.1.0)

lsusb output:
Bus 004 Device 003: ID 046d:0992 Logitech, Inc.

Nevertheless, when trying to use camorama, the message I get states: "Could
not connect to video device (/dev/video0). Please check connection."

Does anyone have any idea? Any help would be appreciated
