had the same problem here, but I had more than 3 kernels avail to choose
from. I guess because I updated and wasnt a fresh install? who knows,
but an older kernel worked for me, .17-12 the last one they updated to
didnt work for my acer laptop. .24-12. cant offer anything more than that.
