    I had loaded the "nvidia-glx-config" package and it made my Desktop 
look a lot better than the stock "nv" system in xorg.conf. But it was to 
bad to use. At various times my screen would get full of a cross-hatch 
looking thing and both the keyboard and mouse are not working. The only 
thing to do is to turn off the computer and then boot back up if desired.

    So I went to add-remove software and found the package. In the 
writeup it said youe can just turn off nvidia-glx-config so I did that 
and now I am using the 'nv' driver that comes with ubuntu. It doesn't 
look as nice but I think I am done with the dam cross-hatch problem! It 
has been a problem ever since I bought this computer. Here is what is
