Hello Ubuntu experts and users
Thanks to all your cooperative assistance and feedback I was able to get
my multi-OS experimental installation with 1) Win XPP (manufacturer's
original installation), 2) OS/2 Warp V4 and Ubuntu 8.04 Alpha 6, running
successfully !

Before continuing to my final decision and/or solution I would really
appreciate to learn how you do/did your partition layout with these 3
OS'es !?

One more Ubuntu shall being installed as experiment / test
environment !!!
Current experiment:

prim C1: NTFS / Win XPP
OS/2 Bootmanager
prim C2: HPFS / OS/2 Warp 4
log D: FAT32 / SHARE between all OS'es
log E: HPFS / EXEC OS/2
log F: HPFS / FILES OS/2
log ext3 HOME
log SWAP
log ext3 Ubuntu PROD
log ext3 Ubuntu TEST

The intention is following:
All future Linux experiments shall being done with Ubuntu TEST and no
more experiments with Ubuntu PROD ! If anything goes wrong with testing
I will just copy a new TEST environment
copying with GParted !?

Any advise, hints, suggestions are appreciated welcome ! ;-)
TIA and cheers, svobi
