Hello Frank,
No expert here, but have just done last gutsy update
installing new kernel-image 2.6.22-15-generic and
didn't experience your problem. However, am using
UUID's instead of /dev/names which is supposed to
eliminate the issue. I believe using UUID is the
default now since before gutsy or at least since
gutsy.
Perhaps you manually changed /etc/fstab or somehow
elected to stay with dev names. Using UUID's ipo dev
names should resolve your problem.
Hope this helps. Sorry, can't tell you how to use
UUID' if you don't know how. Someone expert will have
to do that.
