Problems exporting R graphs with Ubuntu

I don't use gnome but I think you talk about an icon on the gnome desktop?
Are you running R and gnome with same user account? Looks like you might
not have read permissions to the file or something like that indicated by
the orange something. Just an idea.... Check permissions on the file.
