    Hi Victor. The power cable came with the motherboard power supply. I 
am not sure the power cord is bad. It might be that I was fooled by the 
bad serial cable.

    Yes it is AHCI which is interesting and I can get it if I call the 
SATA hd a raid drive. But I think the cable is bad. I need to correct 
that first.
