Funny how this one seems to have worked in reverse for me, i.e. I have what 
works for the earlier kernel LOL. Try heading over to 
http://code.google.com/p/eee-ubuntu-support/
and download the file at the right of the page. Extract it somewhere and in a 
terminal run sudo ./install wifi to get the wifi. to get an idea of what it 
can install just type ./install on its own

That'll work for 2.6.22.14
